Following a successful first edition in 2026, ENCORS returns on 25–26 May 2027 for two new days of exchange, debate and connection around one central question; How do we keep open research secure?

The conversation continues
Research security continues to evolve. From unwanted knowledge transfer and covert influence to the misuse of research results, new questions keep emerging across Europe.
ENCORS brings together research security practitioners, policymakers, academic leaders and experts to exchange knowledge, challenge ideas and help shape European practice.
On 25 and 26 May 2027, the conversation continues.
Building on a strong first edition
ENCORS 2026 brought together 60 speakers, 40 sessions and participants from more than 30 countries.
Two days filled with new perspectives, practical insights and connections across the European research security community.
