ENCORS 2026 brought Europe’s research security community together
On May 26 and 27, Delft welcomed research security practitioners, policymakers, academic leaders and experts from across Europe for the first edition of ENCORS.
With 60 speakers, 40 sessions and participants from more than 30 countries, ENCORS 2026 created two days of exchange, debate and new connections around one central question:
How do we keep open research secure?
From unwanted knowledge transfer and covert influence to the misuse of research results, the challenges surrounding research security are becoming increasingly important. ENCORS brings together the people working on these issues every day to share knowledge, challenge ideas and shape European practice together.
